How to Prepare Your Property:

Cleanliness: Make sure the space is clean and tidy. The property should be prepared in the same way you would expect a potential buyer or renter to view it during a showing. For best results we recommend hiring a housekeeping service to clean the interior of the property prior to the photoshoot.
Kitchen & Bathroom: Make sure these areas are spotless, they are the most important rooms that buyers look at! Take out the trash, stow away soap and shampoo bottles, remove unnecessary items from countertops, and close toilet seat lids. Clean, folded towels are nice to present on towel racks and on kitchen oven handles.
Lights & Window Blinds: During the photoshoot we will utilize as much natural light as possible so we will open all window blinds and shades. Additionally all lights will be turned on unless requested otherwise. If you have special lights such as string/fairy lights that you’d like to showcase, let us know how to operate them if you do not plan on being present at the property.
Furniture & Staging: Decorations make a huge difference! If you are able, we recommend staging your property with furniture, plants, and decorations that create a warm and welcoming environment. Avoid personalized decorations such as family picture frames and stow away things like clothing, memorabilia, and medication. Everyone likes clean counterspace!
Relocate Your Cars: Please make sure to relocate your cars prior to the photoshoot. They will need to be a reasonable distance from the property so they do not appear in the photos. Consider also that cars may be visible through the windows from the interior of the property. Cars can be parked inside the garage unless we will be photographing the inside of the garage in which case they will need to be outside.
Floor Scans: Your property does not need to be vacant to perform a floor scan. We recommend cleaning up clutter of course however furniture such as tables, couches, and beds will not affect the scan.
